New Art After Dark Cert HE – coming soon!

Aiming for Autumn 2018, UWTSD Swansea College of Art is currently developing a new ‘Flexible Learning’ opportunity for people who wish to gain a formal qualification but currently find it too difficult due to work and family commitments.

The Cert HE is awarded when you gain 120 credits at Level 4 studying part time over 2-3 years.

To gain your Art After Dark Cert HE (120 credits) you will:

Take 3 x Core Modules that will provide you with all essential skills for employment or self-employment plus choose from a broad portfolio of subject area modules:

‘Skills for the Creative Workplace’ (60 credits)

  • Core modules covering:
  • Marketing & PR
  • Essential Software
  • Contextual Studies: Ways of Thinking/Perceiving
  • Business & Admin
  • Enterprise 

‘Creative Portfolio’ (60 Credits)

Choose 6 x 10 Credit Modules from a broad range of subjects:

  • Insights into Contemporary Art Practice
  • Introduction to Photography 1
