This course is designed for those with little or no experience of working with lead sheet. This course is mainly practical and gives an introduction to the skills required for working with lead sheet and will allow candidates to develop competence in
Welding lead sheet details, to include positional and non-positional welding techniques.
Correct setting up and shutting down of the oxy-acetylene equipment. Aspects of health and safety.

A certificate of attendance is issued by Lead Sheet Association

Who should attend
While there are no special entry requirements this course would be useful for roofing and general building contractors who want to become more skilled in the prefabrication and installation of typical lead flashing details.

Course Content

The level of skill of a leadworker can often be determined by the neatness, uniformity and finished appearance. You or your staff will gain skills and knowledge of lead welding and how to form lead sheet details, there-by improving the quality of leadwork and productivity on site
