Overview
This course will cover the procedures and techniques required undertake a site survey and produce a Digital Terrain Model (DTM) that is suitable for setting out and earthworks. The survey observations will be processed and edited using standard surveying software (Liscad).

NB: It is desirable to have completed the course: Establishing control networks for surveying & setting out which covered the basic concepts and computations that will be used in this course.

Certification
A certificate of attendance is issued by Coleg y Cymoedd.

  • the ability to edit and verify survey data.
