Military Training

The University of Wales Trinity Saint David is proud of its close educational association with the nation’s armed forces. This affiliation has been highly successful in creating study opportunities for a great number of military students from level 3 to post graduate programmes. At UWTSD we are committed to developing this very distinctive aspect of our work as part of our future strategy.

Professor Mike Phillips, Pro Vice Chancellor, UWTSD.

Our Military programmes are designed to allow serving and ex-serving members of all services, as well as their MOD civilian colleagues to achieve academic recognition of their extensive work experience and formal training. An approved learning provider under the Armed Forces Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC) scheme (1763), the University of Wales Trinity Saint David has invested more than 10 years of development to evolve our military programmes.

Recognising the significant operation experience and training of military and civil service personnel, the programmes are open to all suitably qualified and experienced officers, NCOs and other ranks. Typically students take 18 to 36 months to complete their studies; however, flexibility is a key feature.
