Over 24 years’ experience in social care, including setting up, managing and overseeing registered care services in Wales and England as well as training, assessment and consultancy across the UK and Ireland.

Registered with the Education Workforce Council (Wales) as a Further Education Teacher Member of the British Institute of Learning Disabilities

Currently developing a new module in Care & Support of the Person with Dementia for delivery at UWTSD

Masters dissertation / Work-based research project: “comparing the effects of Restrictive Physical Interventions training with that of Positive Behaviour Support theory training on the thoughts, beliefs and confidence of social-care support staff”
