Work-based Learning Fellow


In 2010 Sarah joined the Work Based Learning Teaching Fellow team and has supported students that have been undertaking the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) module.


More recently Sarah has been supporting students in a mentoring capacity and has assisted with the delivery of a range of WIWBL courses. 

Since leaving the University of Wales, Swansea with a BA Hons Degree in Welsh, Sarah started her career with the Dyfed Education Business Partnership. Sarah took a lead on developing work related projects and establishing sustainable partnerships between schools and business.

With her experience of working with education, business and industry Sarah then went on to secure a number of senior roles within Careers Wales West. Currently, Sarah is a Policy Manager for Careers Wales and takes a lead on developing the company’s policy and strategy relating to work related education.

Sarah has studied with the Institute of Leadership & Management at Manchester University and has obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership, Management and Consultancy.
