Leadership, Crisis and Resilience

‌This module focuses on encouraging participants to examine a range of different leadership styles, behaviours and traits from theory and apply to practice.

The following areas will be covered during the module:

  • Recognising the life cycle of a crisis and the importance of managing risk in an organisational setting.
  • Identifying your own workplace stressors and how to deal with them.
  • The importance of personal responsibility in recognising and addressing the initial stages of a crisis.

This course is particularly suited to those in a position of management or leadership within their organisation as well as those aspiring to becoming manager or leaders of the future.

Critical incidents can happen in any organisation, at any time. This module will help you identify the implicit challenges encountered during times of crisis, and how to best manage yourself and your team to achieve the best result possible.

  • The written assignment will reflect your learning from the case studies and scenarios relating to crisis management.
  • A presentation which analyses the experiential learning achieved from this module of study, with recommendations as appropriate.
