Housing Legislation Training Programme

New Housing Legislation Training Programme in Wales

The GWLAD “Understanding Housing Law” programme developed in conjunction with Coastal Housing Group is designed to ensure housing professionals and organisations are equipped with up-to-date knowledge relating to the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016, which comes into force in 2018.

Delivered by expert tutors in a friendly and welcoming environment, our module brings together formal training with work-based experience, including case studies and the real-life scenarios that housing professionals face.

Small tuition groups mean learners benefit from a high level of interaction with peers and tutors alike, and content informed by national policy and practice ensures they leave with a greater understanding of the impact of the new legislation and their role in ensuring compliance.

The module duration is four days (one day per month) and can be delivered at a location to suit you*, or can be undertaken as an online ‘e-learning’ programme.

Through GWLAD, employers within West Wales and the Valleys are eligible for up to 50% funding towards this staff development programmes, which are designed to be flexible, develop employee skills and improve organisational performance. Funding is only available for a limited time, so contact GWLAD today for further information and to start making a difference to you, your workforce and your organisation.
