The University of Wales Trinity Saint David is a dynamic and ambitious institution with campuses in Swansea, Carmarthen, Lampeter, London, Birmingham and the Wales International Academy of Voice in Cardiff.
The University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) has a collaborative agreement with Wuhan University of Technology (WUT) in China. The BEng in Automotive Engineering is being delivered in WUT over three years as part of this collaboration. To fulfil the requirements of this collaborative agreement, one third of the programme is to be delivered by UK academics.
We are looking to recruit a small number of Hourly Paid Lecturers in Automotive Engineering to fulfil this collaborative approach.
About the Role
Post holders will be expected to support WUT’s own lecturers in delivering the programme which is validated by UWTSD. The positions require applicants with experience of teaching automotive or mechanical engineering related subjects at degree level in the UK or abroad.
It is expected that each successful candidate will undertake teaching delivery at the Wuhan University of Technology (WUT) based in China. Teaching will comprise up to 90 days per year, which may involve teaching in blocks of 6 to 8 weeks with typically 20 contact hours per week. Candidates should note that the hourly rate of pay applies to each contact hour only.

- £36.78 - £42.61 per hour plus holiday pay (to be paid on contact hours only)
