00740 - Postgraduate Research Supervisors for DBA Part II
The University of Wales Trinity Saint David is a dynamic and ambitious institution with campuses in Swansea, Carmarthen, Lampeter, London and the Wales International Academy of Voice in Cardiff.
At the London campus we offer a range of programmes of study at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), which is widely recognised as the pinnacle of qualifications in the world of business and management. The DBA programme is designed to meet the needs of professionals working in Business Administration and Management related areas in the UK and overseas.
About the Role
Having completed their first year comprising taught modules, DBA students progress to Part II, which comprises a doctoral level work-based research project. Each student is supported by a supervisory team of two supervisors who offer regular supervision. The frequency of supervision will vary but as a minimum ten formal supervision meetings will take place each year with the student. The supervisory team will also provide guidance and advice to the student throughout their research journey.
The University invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to join a ‘pool’ of supervisors. When a match is identified between a student’s research and an individual’s field of research, we will make contact to discuss availability. If the individual accepts the offer of engagement they would then be contracted as an employee of the University.
Further details about the role of Postgraduate Research Supervisor can be found in the person specification, below.
