The 3rd year BA Acting and BA Design and Production students have produced an extremely ambitious, dynamic and physical realisation of the timeless piece directed by Bruce Guthrie.

“Stars, hide your fires; Let not light see my black and deep desires.”

A heroic soldier is corrupted and consumed by ambition when it is suggested the throne of Scotland may be within his reach. Macbeth is a timeless tale of corruption of the best becoming the worst.

This new physically dynamic production directed by Bruce Guthrie will appeal to admirers of the bard while pulling no punches in the retelling of his most popular and violent tale.
