By training your staff, you’re improving the skills of individuals while boosting the success of your bottom line.

Skills for Industry LogoThe Skills for Industry project is part-funded by the European Social Fund and is aimed at businesses located in south west Wales that are interested in developing the skills of their employees and to ensure that they have the skill set to adapt and embrace change to help them thrive, prosper and grow. Private sector companies including SMEs and voluntary organisations can benefit from this project.

By delivering substantially subsidised, sector specific, work relevant training, it will be supporting businesses operating across a variety of sectors.

Your commitment

Although Skills for Industry has been set up to help you significantly reduce your training costs, there will be a financial commitment required. You will need to contribute a percentage of the cost of the training depending on the size of your business, 30% for small businesses, 40% for medium sized businesses and 50% for large businesses.

Is your business eligible?

If your business is based in the region (Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire & Ceredigion) then your employees could benefit from the subsidised training.
