  • Lecture full time on the BA (Hons) Graphic Design programme
  • Assist in the administration of the programme.
  • Advise on IT within the Faculty of Art & Design.

I have a background in Technical Illustration and Graphic Design and have over 20 years of experience.

I lecture on all year groups of the Graphic Design undergraduate degree programme. My main focus is to teach the technologies associated with Graphic Design. The modules I currently teach on are:

Year 1

  • Typography
  • Adobe Illustrator workshop and Laser Cutting

Year2

  • Design Technologies for Design, Reproduction and Print.
  • Design Technologies Web Design.
  • Web Workshops in HTML and CSS.

Year3

  • Major Project Tutorials.
  • Marketing, Self Promotion and Exhibition.

I am currently in my final year of my Masters Degree in Visual Communication where my focus is on information graphics.

I am also in a state of constant retraining to stay up to date with the technology developments within the world of graphic design.

I have over 20 years experience in working with technologies relating to graphic design in both digital and hand craft elements.

I am a practicing freelance graphic designer and have been for over 17 years.

I was awarded the Student Led Teaching Award for Art & Design in 2013 and received it again in 2014.
