I am responsible teaching across all three year groups within the programme through lectures, seminars and tutorials. I support the Programme Director in the day - to - day running of the course and support the students with pastoral care
After graduating from Goldsmiths College, London with a Fine Art degree in the late 1990’s, I proceeded to work as a Film and Video Art Technician at Tate Modern in 2000 and then at the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, in 2002 where I worked to support artists such as Bill Viola, Michel Rovner, Cory Archangel and Eva Sussman to help produce and install their work in the gallery. I relocated to Wales in 2004 and have worked at Women’s Arts Association, Chapter Arts Centre and Locws International helping artists to develop, produce and install their work for exhibition.
Association of Photographers in Higher Education.
My current process means that I work closely with ideas surrounding memory, place and archival collections mostly online and library / museum based. I am interested in the heritage of a location or collection especially it’s lost and largely forgotten social history. I am interested in researching and developing ideas that explore notions of fact and fiction, blurring the boundaries and making my audience question what is real?
