The focus of my research is the development and financing of innovative content for the media and entertainment industry. The main challenge is to develop ideas with a strong narrative foundation that transfer across media platforms. In order to achieve this I:
- use imaging, video and interactive applications to develop content ideas primarily for the children’s market
- initiate collaborative partnerships with media professionals including writers, illustrators and production companies
- add-value to IP projects brought into UWTSD for support
- develop IP within teams that have potential to work across different media platforms e.g. TV and mobile technology
This activity has supported the receipt of development funding for our client partners and grants into the CIRIC in excess of £1 million.
- Development of content ideas for the media industry
- Financing research and knowledge transfer between HEI’s and the creative industries
- Social Media analytics
- Adobe After Effects
