Innovative educational practice

I have worked in education for twenty years in a range of roles including; primary teaching, working for an educational charity and teaching adult learners. Before working for UWTSD, I ran a small educational business promoting creative learning through a multi-sensory approach. I thoroughly enjoy my current job as Coordinator of the Graduate Teacher Programme (GTP).

Exploring creative approaches to learning and assessment is central to my role. My teaching interests include; creative engagement, collaborative learning and employment-based training for graduate trainee teachers.

Project work undertaken with Dynamix (2011) to produce a stop-motion animation film. This was selected as a resource for the Welsh Government’s on-line training package for UNCRC.
