    This year's UWTSD Green Impact Award ceremony took place on 11th May and celebrated the 17 inspirational teams that participated in this years’ programme.

    Staff and students can now recycle even more with the introduction of new recycling bins across Swansea campuses. This helps us reach the target of recycling 40% of our waste at source by July 2017.

    The University is dedicated to reducing our travel impact.  As part of our sustainable Travel Plan, we actively promote video conferencing in place of traveling to meetings to other campuses of UWTSD or outside of the University. Systems have been put in place throughout each campus to allow staff members to utilise this feature and we have been monitoring use throughout the year.

    Staff and students at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David have had their efforts to promote sustainability recognised at a special award ceremony. The Green Impact Awards are an environmental accreditation and awards scheme run by the National Union of Students and UWTSD’s Sustainability Delivery Team. The programme encourages simple but powerful changes to the way we work in order to create a more sustainable institution.
