Directions from M4 East To Mount Pleasant Campus, The Swansea Business School and Dynevor

Leave the M4 at Junction 42, signposted A483 to Swansea/Abertawe. Follow the dual carriageway for four miles towards Swansea. As you enter Swansea you will pass the entrance to the SA1 Development/Village Hotel on your left hand side.

Straight on at the next lights onto the River Tawe bridge and keep right into the filter lane for Parc Tawe/Llanelli. After turning right you will need to move to the left lane and filter through the traffic lights to the left of Parc Tawe. Continue straight on at the next set of traffic lights and turn left at the second lights. After the bend to the right proceed up the hill and straight through the traffic lights (Argos is on your right).

At the set of lights in front of the Dragon Hotel, Dynevor visitors should turn left onto the Kingsway, Mount Pleasant and Swansea Business School visitors should stay in the right hand lane and proceed straight ahead.

For Dynevor: Turn left onto the Kingsway and move to the right hand lane. After the Pelican crossing lights opposite the Cooperative Bank turn right up Horton Street to Dynevor.

For Mount Pleasant: Move into the right hand lane and drive straight across at the traffic lights onto Belle Vue Way, turning left at the top. At the traffic lights located outside the Dynevor Centre main entrance proceed straight through towards Mount Pleasant.

The Mount Pleasant Campus will be found on your right hand side, about a quarter of a mile up the hill from the turning.

For Swansea Business School: After the traffic lights stay in the right hand lane and bear right in front of the Police station. Proceed along Alexandra Road passing the Glyn Vivian Art Gallery on your left, remain in the right hand lane. Continue through the traffic lights and stay in the left lane. At the lights in front of the railway station filter left onto the High Street. Continue straight on at the mini roundabout and with the church on your left turn right into Powell Street, Swansea Business School is the large Silver building at the end of this street.

Directions from M4 East To Townhill Campus

Leave the M4 at Junction 42 signed A483 to Swansea/Abertawe.

Follow the dual carriageway for four miles towards Swansea/Abertawe.

As you approach Swansea you will cross a bridge and immediately find on your left hand side Sainsburys and on your right hand side Toys ‘R' Us. Continue through several sets of traffic lights following the signs for City Centre West and Gower (A4067). As you progress along this road you will see the Swansea Museum on your left hand side.

Continue along this road passing the Marina on your left and the County Hall. Driving along the sea front you will pass, on your right hand side, the Guildhall and Brangwyn Hall and the Swansea Rugby and Cricket Ground. Following which, you will pass straight through two sets of traffic lights.

The second set of traffic lights is the main entrance to Swansea University. At the third set of traffic lights take the right hand lane and turn right. This will be signposted Carmarthen (A4216) and Gower. You will also see signs to Swansea Airport and to Swansea Metropolitan University/Prifysgol Fetropolitan Abertawe (Townhill).

Passing Singleton Hospital on your right hand side, continue up the road until you come to a mini roundabout. Take the second exit which will be signposted Carmarthen (A4216) and Gower, and Swansea Metropolitan University/Prifysgol Fetropolitan Abertawe (Townhill). At the next set of traffic lights turn right, following the signs to Carmarthen (A4216).

At the next set of traffic lights continue straight on until you reach a mini roundabout. Continue straight over this mini roundabout until you reach two adjacent mini roundabouts.

At the first of these mini roundabouts turn left signposted Llanelli (A4216) and at the second take the second exit and turn immediately right signposted towards Swansea Metropolitan University/Prifysgol Fetropolitan Abertawe (Townhill).

Continue up Townhill Road for about one quarter of a mile and you will reach the Townhill Campus on your right hand side.

Directions from M4 West to Townhill, Mount Pleasant, The Swansea Business School and Dynevor

Leave M4 at Junction 47. At the roundabout take the fourth exit signposted A483 for Swansea/Abertawe. Continue along the dual carriageway until you reach another roundabout.

Take the first exit signposted Swansea A483/Gower. Follow the signs for Swansea along the dual carriageway.

At the sixth set of traffic lights, take a right turn towards Gower A4216. Swansea Metropolitan University/Prifysgol Fetropolitan Abertawe (Townhill) is indicated at this junction. Continue straight along the A4216 through two sets of traffic lights. You will pass a petrol filling station on your left hand side and a short while later will reach a road junction with two adjacent mini roundabouts. At the first of these mini roundabouts turn immediately left, signposted Swansea Metropolitan University/Prifysgol Fetropolitan Abertawe (Townhill). Townhill Campus will be found on your right hand side, about a quarter of a mile, on Townhill Road.

For the Mount Pleasant Campus, Swansea Business School and Dynevor, continue past the Townhill Campus until you reach a roundabout. At this roundabout take the second exit and drive along this road until you arrive at a further roundabout. Leave at the third exit, continuing down the steep hill for about half a mile and you will reach the Mount Pleasant Campus on your left hand side.

Dynevor is located at the bottom of this hill.

For Swansea Business School: turn left at the bottom of the hill and proceed along Alexandra Road passing the Glyn Vivian Art Gallery on your left, remain in the right hand lane. Continue through the traffic lights and stay in the left lane. At the lights in front of the railway station filter left onto the High Street. Continue straight on at the mini roundabout and with the church on your left turn right into Powell Street, Swansea Business School is the large Silver building at the end of this street.

National Express operates a direct service to Swansea's Quadrant Bus Station.

From the Quadrant Bus Station Take either the No 12 or No 13 service to Graiglwyd Square (for Townhill Campus).

Great Western Trains run direct services from London Paddington to Swansea's High Street Station.

Journey time is 2 hours 50 minutes.

There are frequent linking services to all major cities, including Cardiff, Bristol and Birmingham.

Taxis are available at High Street rail station.

Cardiff-Wales International airport is 40 minutes' drive away.

Coaches operate to both of London's international airports.

Train journeys are via Reading Main Line Station.
