UWLAS Archaeological Services draws on the considerable staff expertise and resources of the School of Archaeology, History and Anthropology, and a network of external organisations and specialists.

(REF 2014: 84% of research output in areas of geography, environmental studies and archaeology deemed to be internationally recognised or better, with 14% being world-leading)

We currently offer a range of professional consultancy services in environmental archaeology for clients in public, private and voluntary sector organisations, as well as providing support for academic research projects at UWTSD and other universities world-wide (see Staff and Quality Assurance statement). Follow links on the left to find out more information on the specific types of work we currently undertake.

Over the past decade we have completed nearly 200 research contracts for more than 100 clients. Where appropriate, and with the consent of clients, our results are disseminated to a wider audience through academic publications, conference and local community presentations, public talks, media coverage, etc.

Please contact us for further information, advice on a particular project or a quotation for a specific piece of work.
