Experience the Academic Life at UWTSD

Our committed and expert academic staff are on hand to give you a thorough understanding of what learning is like at University level, at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.

During the week you will participate in academic sessions, perhaps studying topics that you have never even come across before!

There will be academic sessions during the week. There will a mixture of lectures; seminars for debate and discussions; and even practical field trips.

Your academic work will be assessed and marked, where successful assignments will lead to an additional 8 UCAS points for an appropriate degree programme at UWTSD.

Besides this, attendance at the Humanities Summer Academy demonstrates your drive and motivation to experience student life prior to applying; an attractive addition to your UCAS personal statement and employers alike.

Experience the Social Life at UWTSD

Our Student Ambassadors will be present throughout the Humanities Summer Academy, offering a variety of social activities to suit everyone in the evenings and at the weekend.

Thanks to Lampeter's gorgeous location, there will be some outdoor activities such as barbeques and sport games. However, the social events will also remain fluid to ensure that we reflect the needs of all the participants; that way, you can make friends and enjoy your stay in a comfortable and supportive environment.

On your final evening with us we will also host an Awards Ceremony where we can celebrate your achievements over the two weeks.
