Travel to UWTSD
Information for anyone travelling from Overseas to start or continue studies at UWTSD
Please contact us if you require advice and support on travelling from your arrival airport.
Please note depending on the UK and Welsh Government’s quarantine requirements you may be required to quarantine for a two week period on your arrival. If this is the case the University will be able to offer advice and assistance as needed.
At the border
There is currently some important information that you will need to read and act on ahead of your arrival date.
Read the current UK Government advice pages about entering the UK, including information about providing your contact details before your arrival date, so that you know what to expect when you plan your entry to the UK.
As far as we know, eGates are currently unavailable due to additional Covid-19 measures being put in place.
In the event the eGates become available again, please do not use them at the airport if you need to obtain a Short-term study visa stamp at the UK border.
Visa stamps can only be obtained from a Border Officer. All student route visa holders must present themselves to a Border Force Officer.
