The Creative Advertising course enjoys a separate floor with three studios.
These consist of a studio room which is used for lectures, workshops and presentations. There is a computer suite which has the latest Mac computers using Adobe CC software and these are connected to Wacom tablets. There is also a ‘creative mix hub’ room for all Creative Advertising students to use between lectures.
The shared space promotes vertical learning and builds bonds across the course. It can be used to hot desk, share ideas, participate in tutorials and hold peer and client meetings.
Being the oldest art school in Wales we enjoy the benefits this brings in terms of access to wider facilities. Founded over 170 years ago and described by Peter Lord as ‘the most successful and prestigious art school in Wales’ the faculty of Art and Design enjoys both traditional and state-of-the-art facilities to help you realise your creative ideas.
These include bespoke printmaking studios, traditional and digital darkrooms, film and photographic studios, laser and water jet cutters, 3D printing, ceramic, fabric, model-making and glass workshops. Access to which can organised through your course lecturers.
