The Graphic Design programme is well supplied with the latest Apple computers and professional software, which are regularly renewed and updated. We are fortunate to have a fantastic working space for our students with a specific studio for our third years.
The main teaching suite has 25 computers and there is an open access suite of 14 machines. These are all networked to a range of printers from double sided A3+ to large format banner printers.
Digital cameras and video cameras, as well as a portable lighting setups are available for students to use to produce their own video and photography. There is a lasercutter dedicated to Visual Communication students, as well as traditional Letterpress and Riso Printers. Access to other areas of the Faculty is arranged through workshops, however, Swansea College of Art and Design has a policy of allowing students shared access to all of our facilities.
