Chris Hopkins is a Fellow of the Academy for Healthcare Science, a Fellow of the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine, and a Chartered Engineer with the Institute of Engineering and Technology. Working with local universities and MedTech companies, he has more than 27 years’ experience in the NHS. His research interest is in artificial intelligence and machine learning, with a particular focus on healthcare systems and is currently supervising several PhD projects.
Chris was awarded the Excellence in Healthcare Science Research and Innovation Award at the NHS England Chief Scientific Officer’s Excellence in Healthcare Science Awards 2022.
