Company background

Innoture Ltd hold world wide patents in the manufacture of microneedle patches, the only company that has scaled up mass production of flexible base patches world wide. A tenant of the ILS business incubator space, Innoture Ltd have collaborated with Swansea University over the past 6 years to develop an idea into a product on the market.

Innoture’s R&D challenges

A lack of knowledge and expertise to develop an applicator device for their microneedle products. Product development challenges include: standardising the application of the product which is critical for adoption; following through with ideas to a prototype with no in house capabilities; finding a research partner in close proximity, to allow for the co-operative development of a prototype and be cost-effective.
