As part of our commitment to transforming education and lives, connecting students with opportunities, and raising aspirations, UWTSD Birmingham will host our inaugural Careers Fair on Wednesday, 13th July 2022, at Quay Place, Edward Street, Birmingham, B1 2RA.

The event brings together local, regional and national businesses for undergraduate and postgraduate students to learn about opportunities and career pathways.

Giving students the opportunity to meet with employers and learn about opportunities is an integral part of career development. We have a team of qualified Career Advisers and employability specialists leading a range of activities that are designed to help students develop their careers.

Academic Dean John Deane says, ‘I am delighted we are launching our inaugural Careers Fair to support the future workforce and skills shortage in the City and the West Midlands. We look forward to developing lasting mutually beneficial partnerships with key employer stakeholders.

'University of Wales Trinity St David, Birmingham is an institute of inner-city learning with a growing student community of over 1500. The majority of students live in the West Midlands. Students are adult learners studying at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in health and social care, business and leadership management, and cloud computing. We serve a unique and growing student populace. 45% of students are from an ethnic minority background and 61% are over the age of 30.’

Providers keen to engage with our students are asked to register their interest here: birm.careersfair@uwtsd.ac.uk
