Firstly, please Log In to UCAS Track to check your status. Occasionally we are able to accept students who don’t quite achieve the grades they are hoping for, or we are able to make a ‘changed course offer’ which means we can offer you a place on an alternative course. If your status shows as ‘unconditional’ your place is confirmed, congratulations! If you are unsure what your status means or have questions, please call us on 0300 323 1828.
It’s not too late to apply, please contact us on 0300 323 1828 to find out if there are places available on your preferred course, and our team will guide you through the process of applying via UCAS during clearing.

Yes, as well as University accommodation where we often have places still available for clearing applicants there are a wide range of private halls and privately rented accommodation options near our campuses so there are plenty of choices. Check out our accommodation page for the full details.
Our standard undergraduate tuition fees for 2019/20 are £9,000, and living costs at UWTSD campuses are low compared to many other areas of the UK. We also have a range of bursaries available.

The students union (TSDSU) organise a range of different events and activities on each of the main campuses at the start of term, from walking tours to nights out to the fair where you can meet and sign up to lots of different clubs and societies. You will find more information on the Students' Union webpages and on their Facebook page.
Yes, we have groups on Facebook for Swansea, Carmarthen and Lampeter. In these groups you can find other people from your course, or who will be moving into the same accommodation as you and even those looking to share their commutes. The groups also contain information about welcome events and enrolment.
Your welcome and arrival day will depend on your campus, information about your arrival day will be sent out to you by the Student Experience department and you can also get information and updates by downloading the UWTSD Student Guide app which is available on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. You will meet your tutors, receive your class timetable and get other important information on your welcome day.
The Student Experience department has produced a mobile app which is regularly updated as the start of term approaches. It contains information about arrival days for each campus, travel information, how to set up your student email account, IT Support and more.
