The Confucius Institute is an official HSK Test Centre.  In addition to HSK and HSKK Chinese proficiency tests, we also offer the Youth Chinese Test (YCT) which is taught at our Confucius Institute Chinese School.

HSK Chinese Proficiency Test

Take the Chinese international standard test and ensure your entry into Chinese universities, businesses and other organisations.

HSK is the official Chinese Proficiency test that is recognised by all Chinese institutions, universities and organisations. The test is recommended for students in Years 12 and 13, as well as undergraduate and postgraduate students, and adults seeking a recognised qualification in Mandarin Chinese.

Youth Chinese Test (YCT)

YCT is the standardized international Chinese proficiency test. It is directed at examining non-native primary and secondary school students’ ability to apply Chinese language in their studies and daily lives. Pupils may choose to be tested through either the written test, oral test or both. The written and oral test are independent of each other and may be taken at different times.
