IT Support

Microsoft Teams

UWTSD has successfully adopted Microsoft Teams as the primary mechanism for remote communication and learning with all of our staff communication methods having moved to MS Teams (chat, meeting, telephony) during lockdown.

With the success of moving many of our lectures to MS Teams we will provide our students additional functionality by opening up the chat feature within MS Teams so that it become the central point for all our communication.

In the coming weeks as we upgrade our users, there will be a new ‘chat’ icon within teams that will allow students to chat with staff and other students within the Teams application.
