Rachel is a Web Development Assistant and joined the team in 2021.
Rachel is keen on everything creative, whether web development, web design, photography or film. She enjoys collaboratively working with others to merge all aspects of creativity and bring visions to life. Her role as a web development assistant includes adding or editing new material to webpages, creating or archiving pages, Implementing HTML and CSS code where needed, resizing images and optimizing for the web and linking and fixing broken links as giving web support where needed.
Before her current position, Rachel studied New Media Production at UWTSD. She graduated with first-class honours, her skill set is widely developed, and she can confidently use and produce content, whether web-based, photography or film.
During her studies at UWTSD, Rachel began to work with various external companies to broader her experiences. She has a credit on a film with S4C called ‘Beddgelert’, produced by Bad Wolf productions. Rachel worked as a Runner and Camera assistant during the production.
She has also frequently worked as a photographer and camera assistant with Broadside productions. Rachel worked externally with Cwtch productions as a wedding photographer and videographer until 2020. She learnt to implement her education and skill set into a professional work environment and dealt with many clients collaboratively and individually.
In Her free time, Rachel enjoys learning new skills, going to the gym, spending quality time with family and friends and going on walks with her dogs.
