The University of Wales Trinity Saint David has been working closely with East Asian universities and their students since 2006, when an initial group of students embarked on a range of Business related degrees.
As a result of the success of this cohort and the excellent student experience offered by the university, the population of East Asian students has increased and now the university is host to students from all regional areas, across all academic disciplines.
Students from East Asia are attracted by the level of individual attention that they receive throughout their academic studies. UWTSD has an open door policy that allows you to speak to a member of academic or support staff when you need to. Our class sizes are kept small allowing you to make friends easily and to study effectively.
The University now has an office in East Asia and academic staff from the University travel extensively in China delivering lectures and developing their individual understanding of the needs of Chinese students. As well as the teaching of students the University is now host to a number of visiting Chinese scholars in all manner of disciplines including: Fine Art, Business, Chinese Culture and Calligraphy, and Mandarin.
