The Sophia Centre for the Study of Cosmology in Culture

The way we live on our planet is partly shaped by the way in which we see ourselves in the Cosmos. Whether we think that our resources need to be preserved, or that they can be endlessly exploited, depends on whether we see the existence of life on earth as precious and delicate, or if we think that the universe will always provide an answer for our problems. The Sophia centre for the Study of Cosmology in Culture takes such issues as its focus, asking how we, as humans, relate not only to the environment here on earth, but to the greater environment, the cosmos.
