Welcome to the Information Technology & Systems Staff Induction
As a new member of staff at UWTSD, your IT account will be created automatically and your manager will be able to provide you with your login details.
It is important for you to familiarise yourself with the services IT&S provide while ensuring you are aware of your IT related responsibilities.

Getting to know the services we provide

All staff must complete the Information Security Awareness Training course detailed below within the IT&S Policies & Security Courses section.
We also ask new staff to go to UWTSD Digital Skills to undertake the Jisc Discovery Tool in order to self-assess your digital skills. The Digital Skills Framework also provides staff with access to a number of development resources in the Structured Learning section.
It is compulsory for all staff to complete the Information Security Awareness course on Moodle.
You must also familiarise yourself with all IT&S Policies including the IT Acceptable Use Policy

We also have telephone support available 24/7 365 days a year, call us on 0300 500 5055.
If you need access to Department Shared Drive folders, please ask you line manager to create an IT Service Desk ticket detailing what access is required.
