Firstly you need to have Skype for Business installed on your PC/Laptop/Mac, if you're not sure if you have then contact the IT Service Desk via or call 0300 500 5055 (ext 5055 internally). Once running on campus, Skype for Business should sign you in automatically. If not, or you are using Skype for Business off campus (at home for example by installing the Skype for Business software from then simply login with the below details;

  • Sign-in address:This is your UWTSD email address ( or
  • Password: This is your UWTSD password

The Skype for Business App is available on several Smartphones and Tablets. You can download the Skype for Business App from the relevant Store on your device. Information on how to download the App on different devices can be found below.

You can download the Skype for Business App on your iPhone, iPad, Android Device or Windows Phone by visiting the relevant App Store on your device and searching "Skype for Business". To get the most out of using Skype for Business, you'll need a webcam and headset which will enable you to make Video and Audio calls. If you don't have a webcam or headset, please contact the IT Service Desk and we'll be able to offer advice on which webcams and headsets are most suitable.
