01008 - Disability Adviser (Birmingham)
Part Time (29.6 hours per week, term-time only), Fixed term for 12 months
The University of Wales Trinity Saint David is looking to appoint to the role of part time (0.8 FTE) Disability Adviser, at our Birmingham Learning Centre.
You will be providing advice and support to disabled students, supporting them in their applications for the Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA). You will monitor the DSA application process, keeping students and relevant University staff informed of outcomes. You will also act as a point of contact for all disabled students, including those not eligible for DSA support.
You will have an in-depth understanding of learning support in a higher education context and in undertaking your responsibilities will be expected to lead by example and to promote equality and diversity and the Dignity at Work ethos.
