01010 - Project Officer - Canolfan S4C Yr Egin Engagement Project
Full Time, Fixed Term for 2 years
The Canolfan S4C Yr Egin Engagement Project is an active partnership between the University and other local organisations, groups and initiatives across the county.
This role is key to ensuring the success of the project as a whole. The holder will work closely with the Director of Canolfan S4C Yr Egin to ensure that the goals are met within the agreed timescales and budget.
The post holder will be responsible for leading on all administrative elements of the project. This will need to be delivered to a high level in order to ensure the effective operation of the three work streams in question.
The Project Officer will also be expected to act as an ambassador for Canolfan S4C Yr Egin, by regularly engaging with the various communities of rural Carmarthenshire. A key part of this work will be to organise events that will promote the reputation of Canolfan S4C Yr Egin across the area, in line with the agreed work program.
The post holder will be required to develop an effective working relationship with all tenants at Yr Egin, ensuring their involvement in specific aspects of the project. The appointee will also be expected to contribute to the management and development of the business incubator space and its connection with the creative community across rural areas of Carmarthenshire.
The successful candidate will be expected to work in a fully bilingual context (English / Welsh) with high written and oral skills in both Welsh and English in order to carry out the duties specific set out above.

The ability to communicate and work through the medium of Welsh is essential for this post.
