The University of Wales Trinity Saint David is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the post of Senior Lecturer in International and Wellbeing Studies at our Swansea campus.

You will work with a Professor and staff across the Institutes to establish the Global Wellbeing Academy initiative, a new international initiative offering a number of interdisciplinary opportunities for the University. You will be expected to act as an ‘international ambassador’ for the Global Wellbeing Academy, making strategic links with a range of International bodies. You will support teaching, assessment, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of schemes/ programme(s), including offering academic leadership, support and guidance in developing international round table events. These will play a key part in the initial engagement and will be hosted in a range of international locations.

Where appropriate, you may also have responsibility for the enhancement of the student experience and ensuring the programme(s) operate within a QA framework and in line with University policies and procedures. You will undertake, where appropriate, scholarship, research, training and/or project work, individually or as part of a network, and will actively seek out funding opportunities, knowledge transfer, external engagement and collaboration, and professional recognition.

You will hold a significant role within the Global Wellbeing Academy initiative and will make a positive contribution to the day to day activities of the scheme. The title of Associate Professor may be granted to the successful applicant.

The successful candidate should hold an honours degree in a relevant discipline, and a PhD in a relevant area which covers international studies.
