01047-01052 - Part Time Specialist Learning Support roles

The University of Wales Trinity Saint David is seeking to enhance the specialist learning support provided to students at Carmarthen, Lampeter, Swansea and Cardiff.  These roles will offer specialist learning support for students in receipt of the Disabled Students Allowance (DSA).    

Current vacancies within this pool are for:

01047 - Learning Support Specialist (£24.77 per hour) at Carmarthen, Lampeter, Swansea and Cardiff

01048 - Specialist Mentor (Mental Health) (£24.77 per hour) at Carmarthen, Lampeter, Swansea and Cardiff

01049 - Specialist Mentor (Autistic Spectrum Condition) (£24.77 per hour) at Carmarthen and Swansea

01050 - Study Assistant (£11.62 per hour) at Swansea campuses only

01051 - Notetaker (£10.17 per hour) at Swansea campuses only

01052 - Practical Support Assistant (£10.17 per hour) at Swansea campuses only

There will be no guaranteed minimum hours of work.  Working hours will reflect student support plans and student timetables.  There may be a requirement to work with more than one student, depending on matching criteria and availability.

Applications are invited from graduates or others who are qualified to degree level, and who can demonstrate high levels of professionalism and confidentiality and who meet the requirements stipulated in the respective person specification and job description.  Applications are particularly invited for staff who are able to work effectively through the medium of both Welsh and English.  All the above posts are subject to Enhanced DBS checks.
