Visit days are held on the Lampeter Campus and give a genuine insight into life at UWTSD before you apply.
We are really excited about being able to invite our 2021 applicants to an on-campus visit day, where you'll be able to take a tour around campus, speak to students, academics, and staff.
All the necessary measures will be in place to ensure you have the best experience of attending.
We will be offering free accommodation to one applicant and their guests and support towards travel expenses!
If you're on the fence about making your decision to study with us coming to our on-campus visit day is a brilliant way to see what makes us different from other universities (and how beautiful our campus is!).
Don't just take our word for it, here's what Matt had to say:
“I came to my first Open Day at Lampeter about 5 years ago, and within minutes of arriving on campus, I turned to my parents and said I wanted to study here. It is that feeling of instantly falling in love with a place that is why visiting a campus physically is so important. You don't really get a feel for the small size, rural location, and beautiful campus that Lampeter has to offer from pictures, and, although the virtual tours a great, you are really missing out if you don't come and look at the campus yourself.
The campus also has a 24hr porters and security lodge, who are always happy to help at any hour of the night, and during the entire pandemic, there has not been a single confirmed case on campus. The tranquillity of the area makes it a wonderful place to study, whether inside for modules, which have between 10 and 20 students in each meaning students can actively engage with the material, or out on the meadow by the river with friends”.
