About

My library career spans more than 20 years, beginning in 1996 as a Library Assistant for the City and County of Swansea Public Library Service where I worked at Swansea Central Library and the branch libraries at Gorseinon and Pontarddulais. In 1998 I moved to the Higher Education sector, working as a Library Assistant at Swansea Institute (now UWTSD) for 8 years, before continuing as a Trainee Assistant Librarian whilst studying for my Post Graduate Diploma in Information and Library Studies at Aberystwyth University, qualifying in 2009. In 2016, after 7 years as a Subject Librarian, I continued my UWTSD career as an Academic Liaison Librarian. My professional interests include library design, accessibility, marketing and social media.
