To contribute to the development and delivery of a high quality and customer-focused library service across the Carmarthen and Lampeter campus libraries. I am responsible for the day-to-day delivery of library services at the Lampeter Campus primarily, including management of staff and liaising and engaging with academic and related staff.  I also deputise in the absence of the Head of Library and Learning Resources: Carmarthen and Lampeter.

My first library post was at the National Library of Wales where I worked on a part-time basis from 2003 whilst I was a postgraduate student.  After graduating, I undertook a Graduate Traineeship at Aberystwyth University Libraries followed by over three years as a library assistant at the Inner Temple library, one of the four Inns of Court Libraries in London, where I worked on a legal reference desk serving practicing barristers.  During this time, I studied part-time towards my MSc in Librarianship at City University, gaining a distinction.  I was appointed to my first professional post with the Welsh Government in 2009 as a Subject Support Librarian.  I returned to academic libraries in 2011 when I was appointed as one of two subject librarians on the Carmarthen campus of UWTSD, progressing to Deputy Head of Library and Learning Resources: Carmarthen and Lampeter in May 2014.  My professional interests are in information and digital literacy and customer service.
