Information about the library services available to students is provided by the institution at which they are studying. However, in line with the University's commitment to collaborative partnerships, UWTSD Library and Learning Resources offers access to Higher Education students registered on University programmes at partner institutions as outlined below.
This provision is intended to supplement the services provided by libraries at partner institutions.
Access to UWTSD Libraries
It is recognised that some students based at partner institutions, particularly those who live geographically close to the University, may want to use University Library material for background information. This can be done free of charge, via the Libraries Together reciprocal borrowing scheme.
Inter-Library Loans and SCONUL Access
Applications for inter-library loans can be made via the partner institutions’ library. Students on partnership programmes are not able to apply for inter-library loans directly from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.
Unfortunately, students at partnership institutions are not eligible for SCONUL Access.
Students based at partner institutions may access some of the University’s subscribed e-resources, where permissible under licensing agreements. These e-resources provide access to a wide range of e-books, e-journals, specialist databases, online newspapers and more.
Partner students should contact their home institution for access details and support in using these resources.
