The aim of this session is to provide participants with an introduction to Statistics and the common causes of their misuse, including an exploration of the factors participants need to consider when analysing statistical data…with some fun examples!
By the end of the session participants will;
- Have an understanding of the problems when using statistics
- Be able to identify factors which influence statistical results
- Have an understanding of the difference between Correlation and Causation
- Be able to critically use statistics and apply it to their research/assignments
