Partnership students and external borrowers may borrow items from UWTSD libraries through the Libraries Together Passport or SCONUL Access schemes.

How do I Join the Libraries Together Passport Scheme?

The Libraries Together Passport Scheme enables any members of Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Powys and Pembrokeshire public library services to borrow from any of the institutions listed in the link below:

Libraries Together

To join our libraries you will need to complete a Libraries Together Passport form, available from your local public library or at the link above. Once completed, the form can be submitted at the Help Desk of any of our libraries and a library borrower account will be created for you.

How do I Join the SCONUL Access Scheme?

The SCONUL Access scheme enables members of any other participating academic libraries in the UK to borrow from any of the institutions listed in the link below:

To join our libraries you will need to submit the information requested in the link above. Once completed, the form will automatically be sent to your home institution for approval. Once approved, bring your approval email and home instituion ID card to the Help Desk of any of our libraries and a library borrower account will be created for you.

How Many Items Can I Borrow?

Library Passport users and SCONUL access users can borrow up to 5 items.

For How long Can I Borrow Items?

Items are issued for 1 week and will be automatically renewed for up to 1 year, unless it has been requested by another library customer.

Partnership Students Access to Online Resources

Some partnership students may be able to access our online resources.  Further information is available here.

External Access to Online Resources

External Users may access selected online resources through our Walk-in Access scheme. Please note access is only available by visiting the library.
