Our priority is the health and safety of our staff and student community and we’re in close contact with Public Health Wales and Public Health UK. Our planning around the current Coronavirus context is informed by Welsh Government guidelines.
We have introduced a range of measures to keep everyone safe on our campuses – from ensuring physical distancing can be maintained, to one-way systems, enhanced hygiene facilities, as well as increased cleaning, particularly in high-use areas.
We prioritised the opening of specialist learning spaces including workshops, laboratories, studios as well as libraries.
We have also developed measures to support staff and students who are shielding, to allow them to fully engage with their studies if they are unable to attend the campuses.
All staff who work on the campuses have received appropriate health and safety training. We have also introduced a compulsory online module to ensure that everyone who is studying and working on our campuses understand our health and safety requirements whilst the Coronavirus pandemic is ongoing.
