Our priority is the health and safety of our staff and student community and we’re in close contact with Public Health Wales and Public Health UK. Our planning is informed by Welsh Government guidelines.
We’re getting our campuses ready to welcome new and returning students back in September, and have introduced a range of measures to keep you safe – from ensuring physical distancing can be maintained, to one-way systems, enhanced hygiene facilities, as well as increased cleaning, particularly in high-use areas.
We are prioritising the opening of specialist learning spaces, when it is safe and appropriate to do so, including workshops, laboratories, studios as well as libraries.
We have also developed measures to support staff and students who are shielding, to allow them to fully engage with their studies if they are unable to attend the campuses.
All staff who will be working on the campuses will receive appropriate health and safety training.
