Dr Sean Jenkins
Head of Design & Applied Arts, Swansea College of Art, UWTSD
Dr Sean Jenkins’ key research interest is the application of Infrared Thermography (IRT) to the study of user experience during human-product interaction. While the use of IRT in medicine is not new, Sean’s research demonstrates that this imaging modality offers a viable non-contact objective measurement technique that may be used to understand and predict physical, cognitive and affective user experiences during product interaction within the field of healthcare and well being. Sean’s academic and professional specialisms in the field Product Design include Computer Aided Design (2D Sketching to 3D Modelling, Visualisation and Prototyping) and Human Factors (Product Interaction and User Experience).
