Tenovus Cancer Care Choir

At Tenovus Cancer Care our aims are simple. We want to help prevent, treat and find a cure for cancer.

We do this by offering support, advice and treatment to cancer patients and their loved ones. We also promote healthy lifestyles and fund cancer research to find new ways to prevent it, diagnose it, and treat it.

We do this where it is needed most - right at the heart of the community.

Since 2010 we’ve launched seventeen Sing with Us choirs. To help us with developing the service and supporting people, we’ve worked with Cardiff University, as well as the Royal College of Music in London, to find out more about the benefits of singing and how it helps people dealing with cancer. We now know that being in one of our choirs is much, much more than singing. It is a great place to go every week, to learn new songs, meet friends in a supportive and safe place. Our Sing with Us choirs are fun, uplifting and friendly, and are open to anyone affected by cancer whether you’re a patient, survivor, carer or someone who has been bereaved through cancer. You don’t need to read music or be a great singer to join - every voice counts.
