A number of staff are researching themes associated with e-Learning, and have presented conference papers/published book chapters. At present, the School has won funding for two JISC funded projects in this area namely ‘eTutor' and ‘ ReCite'.
The ‘eTutor' project explores the potential to develop and deliver education and training on-line using ubiquitous technologies, social networking and open source software, and freely available on-line resources. The ‘ReCite' project aims to research the implications of academic module repurposing in different organisations. Not only does this research underpin pedagogy but it contributes to the development of student Projects in the e-Learning arena.
