Why Study Here?

Integration of theory and practice

In Swansea, the integration of theory and practice are key features of the Public Services and Police Science degrees, and they work closely with the fire service, the police and prison services.

Ideal Location

The location of the Swansea programmes at the Swansea Business Campus in the heart of the city provides an opportunity for students to study alongside and discuss common ideas about enterprise, management and business both public and private.

Award Winning Degrees

The Public Services degree has won many national and local awards for their voluntary activities.

Prepare Students for Work

The Health portfolio of programmes prepares students to work in Nursing and Health & Social Care, and qualifies students to work with children and young adults. Work Placements are integral features of all the degrees and lead students into employment.

Award Winning Facilities

Sports Management students make full use of the fully equipped and award winning LC2 centre in Swansea and are regular visitors to the Premier League Liberty Stadium, developing their practical skills in sports coaching alongside key business and management modules to enable career progression.

Experienced Staff

All staff have current or recent experience in sports management, sports development and coaching. Watersports Management is the latest new programme and is unique to Wales and the south west.
