Joined Swansea Institute of Higher Education in 1995 as a lecturer in the school of computing. Currently Senior Lecturer, School of Applied Computing, WISA.

My academic interests are primarily in the areas of:

  • Data Analysis, Visualisation and Database Design.
  • Geographical Information Systems.
  • Using Geographical Information Systems and computer-based models in Environmental Conservation and Management. 

Using High-Definition Surveying Technology for data acquisition and post processing of data to monitor the changes of coastal terrain – Use of GIS technology to investigate accuracy of new data capturing methods.

Technical expertise in using GIS software and HDS scanning devices for geographical surveying and data analysis.
